    Serious Newcastle's No 9??

Who does everyone think Newcastle will realistically sign to take over from Shearer??

Am hoping for Luca Toni, but we will probably end with Shola wearing the No9!!

Luca Toni's 29 tho, we need some one to take over the mantel for the next 10 years!

Id say Iaquinta, Gilardino, Defoe, Klosve

when owen finally gets fit he will keep the no 10, I see Toni as a stop gap for now an if Fiorentina get relegated we could get him for cheap or maybe on a season long loan

    Rant Re: Newcastle's No 9??

TBh were struggling to get anyone to sign for us...

if we wernt, we would have had them in place now for the Intertoto cup

we will end up with some more washed up tossers who no one wants cause we will pay them £100000000000000000 a week and they are happy to come for that money.

Was reading somthing the other day bout managers we have had
Bobby Robson got big payout for being sacked
John Carver just got out of court settlement
    Souness big big payout
all of souness backroom staff that got sacked also got a payout
WTF is wrong with that club

Look at players like Robert,Vianna,Marcellino,Dyer, Even Owen thats only a fraction of them TBH
Robert and Vianna cost us say £10m each, they were sold for nothing
Dyer and Owen probs on £80,000 --£100,000 a week for sitting on their arses doing fook all
Their wages should be lowered whilst on sick like every one else in this country

Im becoming so frustrated the way our club is ran

Owen is on £104,000 a week m8, you were nearly right.

Thats just scary, the clubs ar stupid enough to pay it though.

Wouldnt you think after newcastles track record for strikers that they would instill an injury clause were they get only 30% of their wage until fit enough to play. Seems fair enough to me if they are paying over 100,000 a week anyway??

30% isnt enough in my eyes m8
When they arnt playing they maybe do a few weights in the gym have a massage do a bit of physio its a joke

they train for about 3-4 hrs a day

That makes owen on roughly £3750 an hour WTF, for sitting on his arse

he spent 6 months last season and god knows how long this season

Then theres the costs for operations etc
As for the clause to get decent players we offer them silly money no player wud come here with a clause like that in

Take into account that when you signed him from Real Madrid he spent most of his time sat on his arse on the bench anyway

Michael Owens fitness has always been an issue in my opinion, when was the last time he played for any sustained period injury free ?

To be honest I think he was a desperate crowd pleasing signing. He certainly isn't world class, or even one of the best in the Premier League, and did I mention he is injury prone aswell.
