Oil pipe spraying out everywhere

I just realised that my van has been leaving a trail of oil behind and luckily managed to get home before any damage done , however....

After having a quick look I can see some thin oil pipes at the front underneath running to what I assume is a cooler in that it looks like a mini radiator.

When the engine is on there is a very small hole in one of the pipes ( metal ) which is coming out at a fair rate of knots and spraying everything.

My question is , can I just repair the hole and if so whats the easiest way or is it easier to replace all the pipes. Also any idea of what it may cost.

The small radiator is a oil cooler mate as you've probably guessed. I'd personally replace the pipe if you can. Its a pressurised pipe so the repair would have to withstand it, you could possibly find someone with the experience to weld it but I'm presuming its alloy and would be a biatch to do with the oil present etc...

Also mate, most of these pipes are ally and believe me they do not weld well

they are indeed alloy and a right pain to weld, you should be able to just buy the pipe from a motor factors and replace that. I would drop all the oil out of it first thou, as your under it might as well change the oil and filter
