i dont know of stockists in your area but NEVER buy a lid off the web, they are usually sent in the normal shop box and they get thrown around and treated very badly by the couriers.
when helmets arrive at a dealer they are normally sent in bulk boxes which are very well padded.

hi
j&s northwich mate, one stop shop, good freindly people. see link

demon tweeks in wrexham, they have quite a few.
many thanks to all who replied,i know js and hunts although i havn't been there for a while and wrexham is a bit far for me. these results should be enough for me and i'll let you know what i decide on.
Also worth making sure that if needed visor fitting kits are obtainable easily, couple yrs back i raised the visor slightly slowing down after a thrash on the motorway, wind caught under it ripping the visor off one side,my helmet was a new Shark, lless than 3 mth old and it took me 3 months to get a new fitting kit AFTER locating it,also cost 35 fuckin quid,as pointed out avoid if possible buying without proper fittingOriginally Posted by faethor
Sig zapped by Mr Olympia. Please replace with one that fits the allowed dimensions. Ta.
well,i finally opted for the arai condor, the contender was the shoei raid II.
Both helmets are well matched in regards to fit, comfort and visibility and it was a difficult choice made easy with the price tag on the arai being 50 quid cheaper at 199.99. Bought from jsaccessories which is one damn fine shop and well worth a visit.
