Default SE K750i Util For mp3/pic/video transfer?

    Hi,

Just picked up a SE K750i but it did'nt come with the software cd you would normally get. I've looked at the SE site and seen a download for 'PC SUITE' which I take it is a collection of utils for use with the phone.

Now the thing is i'm running 98SE and it states ME,XP only.

I was wondering if there are any third party apps that are good for transfering stuff on and off the phone. I don't care about fancy apps that sync with the phone and do all sorts of other stuff.

Just being able to plug the phone in with the lead (or infra red) and be able to move stuff on and off would be lovely. Would be nice if the phone (with its 512mb card) just showed up as an extra drive etc.

I've got similar stuff for my sagem myx6 so hoped that there was stuff out there like that for the SE range

    Thanks in advance

Have you not thought f bluetooth m8 ?

It wont show up as an extra drive, but you can transfer anything between (All bluetooth) handset and PC.

Yeah bluetooth is spot on mate, done a k750i few mins ago, whacked it in, found it right away and i can "drag n drop" any file i like and its well fast.

I see your point about the pc suit not running on win98 - thats a bugger, i will upload the USB cable drivers tho for you - so if you find some 3rd party s/w at least your cable will be configured.

Thanks very much for the replies lads, I mention the cable and Infra Red because it's what i've got sat here at the moment. I'm definately going to go Bluetooth but did'nt want to shell out (I know they are cheap) straight away for another adapter when I might be able to hook it up with what i've got here.

You know what it's like, you want to muck around and fiddle with stuff today instead of ordering and waiting around for stuff you've ordered

In all honesty i've seen stuff that's only supposed to work on ME work on 98SE but I really don't want to download and install something that's a no-go from the start if I can help it. I always think that manufacturers apps are too fat and bloated anyway

Once again cheers for the info.
