XBOX 360 PRICE CUT late 06

Looks like the xbox could get slashed to get base units into houses rather than PS3, Microsoft are denying reports (heard from other source) but then that could be either to make sure sales continue until price slash or they just might not be slashing the price?

They don't need a price drop the reason theyr sales haven't broken the 3 million mark is because the games suck.

If they get their games together they can charge 500 pound a console and still sell more

i dont think there will be one either, they will release halo 3, GTA and gears of war to coincide with the ps3 release. This will sell consoles especialy given sony's releases on launch (pants) and price. Go M$

M$ tried dropping the price and throwing in free games with the xbox1 and it didnt work, like others have said, good games will sell the console and there just isnt enough yet, the price is cheap enough for most people now, but i personally just dont see any games i want to play, now or in the near future.
GTA will kickstart sales i expect, but i couldnt give a toss about that either really.

Games like Saints row or Gears of Wars should kickstart sales. Microsoft can't just wait another year for GTA and Halo to come out so they need top quality games now.

Most likely they will phase out the Core Pack and intorduce a HDDVD pack.

Might even replace both with the HDDVD pack,

I know that the core pack doesnt sell very well. Still seen the Football packs on shelf
