    Default Really Impressed with Logitech!!

    Hi

3 years ago i bought the Logitech DiNovo Media Desktop package. Cost me £120 but i loved the style and the media pad. Anyways....

About 3 weeks ago i spilt some coke on my media pad and it would no longer switch on, also the hub that they all connect to kept loosing power all the time and required to be un-pulgged and plugged back in again.

So i contacted Logitech warranty department via the Logitech site asking how much replacement parts where, the reply i got said that i had a 5 year warranty on it and they would send replacement parts asap.

So a week passed and this morning there was a knock on the door by a DHL Delivery guy, he handed be a rather large box and asked me to sign. When i opened the box there was not just a new hub and media pad, but a brand new, retail boxed Logitech DiNovo Media Desktop!! Got a new Keybaord and Mouse included with it, 6 AA Betterys and 2 Rechargeable ones for the mouse!!

There was nothing asking for the broken parts to be sent back!

I am very very impressed with their service and professionalism with the whole thing!!

I would definately recommend buying Logitech products to any one who is looking for new bits for their PC/Console

Mods if this is in wrong place please move, ta.

    Cheers

I find the Bolivian marching powder has ruined a number of my peripherals.

Well I fuacking hate them for not bringing out a Windows Vista driver for the MX510 mouse. Useless lazy overpaid cunts. I hpe they feel the backlash when Vista comes out.

well, on the strength of this, I rang Logitech as my mediaplay mouse middle button had gasped its last breath through overuse. When I told them that PC World weren't interested they said they would replace the mouse for me, free of charge.
I asked them did they want anything back and they said the receiver and the battery cover, I was amazed at this response and really pleased.
Thanks for the original post Scottio, I will be able to use my favourite mouse again.
Me and my fella spit our dummies out so we won't be coming back. ever. boo hoo.

Hats off to them - maybe you should drop them an email and explain your delight. People are too quick to post about nasty things, so it's nice when people receive positive comments.

    Nice one

Well I just rang them about the lack of support for Vista for the MX510 and was told that there would be no beta drivers to support the community and that if I wanted the mouse to work then I should reinstall XP or wait until Vista is released so yeah I find them to be dead helpful at Logitech.

My replacement mouse turned up yesterday, brand new, boxed mouse!

Talk about multinational, I rang a UK number but talked to somebody foreign. They gave me an address in Switzerland to post to, the package came from Dusseldorf, the invoice was from The Netherlands.

I can also recomend Logitech wireless controllers for your PS2 etc.. and the fast that the warranty last so long. It will no doubt outlast the PS2 with the way Sony are pumping them out faulty

The first gen ps2 one was crap, the d-pad was not good at all and the reciever was on a long ass wire.

However the 2nd gen ones where the mutts nutts, smaller design, more responsive, better analogue sticks and the reciever was no bigger than a memory card and plugged straight into the port with no wire.

    Betterys last for ages also!!

    Cheers

Always have had Logitech stuff. Currently using a bogstandard logitech c/less keyboard and logitech mediaplay cordless mouse. The mouse also acts as a remote control with media player and a few others.

    Cant fault them really.
