Question mp3 ringtone converter - what you recommend ?

Looking for a small app that i can import an mp3 track , select 30/45/60 sec chunks and convert is back to a mp3 but with bitrates that will do for a nokia 6111 and therefore saving on overall file size.

The free ones I tried just seem to have option to send via sms (which i dont want to do) and what i want to do is send them via blu-tooth manually.

    Any suggestions ?

    cheers

i use both audio grabber and sound forge, can i highly recommend them both. They are both very similar but sound forge does have the edge when wanting to sample high quality mp3 imho.

pretty sure i found a copy of sound forge some where in DF !!!!

I'm on the Mac and just use Audacity, it's free but simple enough, just load your mp3, grab the first 30 seconds and say trim, then export out, job done.

You can also use it to just take bits of the song if you want something different from the beginning everytime...

    http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Versions for pretty much everything, Win32, Linux, OSX etc etc
