Hows your XBMC running? I acquired a Crystal Xbox recently which happened to be chipped with a 40Gig drive. Did you have any dramas installing or was it just the one CD and away you go? Had a nightmare un-raring it to start with.....Want it to stream from my HTPC to my upstairs TV.

i originally installed it from the slayers disk and then downloaded the latest t3ch release from the xbins.

Took a while to get my head round originally but now its pretty much running a treat.

got all my media streaming from a sumvision network hdd enclosure available from S:V with a 300gb drive in, this is networked through my router.

the only problem im still having is that some films in 5.1 send the voice channel to the sub which is really annoying!

apart from that its great and i will be adding another xbox to my bedroom also soon

I know my Sky box is not HD but to be fair the TV upscales any input and for my money there is`nt that much difference, as long as what i`m watching is AC3 then i`m happy.

I also have it hooked up to my PC so i can stream HD movies through the Xbox360, i have loads of films that are 1080i with AC3/DTS.

    OIC !

Nice amp BTW, nice to see someone takes their AC3 seriously, sorry did`nt mean to be rude about your pic quality, a photo never does anything much justice.

No worries mate, I knew you were not being rude!
Yeah, the amp is pretty good for an old one, I used to have a Yamaha one before and it did not sound anywhere near as good with my speakers, the kenwood really kicks some arse. Only thing is that although it does AC3, it does not do DTS, only digital 5.1, but I have tried a modern DTS amp (Denon), and it still did not sound as good, no where nearly as much "punch" with the bass, so I stayed with the Kenwood one....much to my neighbours dismay

True mate, my amp is auto switching and i agree that DTS is no where near as good. I tend to find it`s french crap they tend to use DTS.

Check out Pink floyd and Dark side of the moon in 4.1 both DD and DTS, the 4.1 dolby digital is far better than the DTS stream, to this day i have heard nothing better, although it is 4.1 it`s staggering.

Send shivers down me man, check it out if you want some serious separation.
