SATA Hard drive on PC with no SATA connection.

I have acquired a 300GB SATA Hard drive but my PC that does not have a SATA connection on it, is there any alternative I can use to connect it up to my PC? I was looking on ebay and thought that something like this might do the trick.

Just get a PCI card with SATA connections on it:

For internal. The one you found will do it also though

Thanks for that! I think I'm gonna get the external as I don't have any slots left on my PC for an Internal job!

This is a usb to sata if you want another option, it always a good idea to have another options with pc connectivity.

It was a mate who bought the drive ages ago and I'm just sortin out his PC for him, he hasn't a clue so it's a handy to do it this way!
