I have always used Plextor for my burners, they maybe a lil more expensive but i have one thats well over 5 years old and it still punts of disks.
If your looking for a cheap Burner id only half recommend a liteon as i have had a few and they seem to last about 2 years before they start loosing it, But it all depends on the amount of disks your going to burn at the time i used my plextor i was burning about 20- 40 disks a day

    Hope this helps
