Slut Red Raspberries in Chardonnay Jelly

1 bottle of chardonnay
300g raspberries
1 vanilla pod
5 leaves gelatine
250g caster sugar
double cream to serve


place wine and berries in a bowl for 30 mins, strain the wine and move to the a pan - keep raspberries back. Heat wine with vanilla pod until NEARLY boiling - leave on side 30 mins. Soak ggeleaatine leaves 5 mins in cold water.
Remove vanilla pod, reheat wine and stir in sugar until dissolved, IF IT BOILS YOU LOSE THE ALCOHOL CONTENT. add 1/3 of the hot wine to the wrung out gelatine leaves in a measuring jug - stir to disolve then add backto the rest of the mixture - stir- strian into large jug.
Place raspberries into six flattish dishes pour winestuff over the top
Set in fridge for 3 hrs
take out 15 mins before serving.

Can also eat this while drinking vodak that has had raspberries sat in it for 3hrs ...

yeah if i'm not giving you cancer with my ice cream- i'm getting you drink :-P
