Point of Existence - BF2 Mod

This is a new mod for bf2 that has been released. Just played a couple of rounds and I must say it seems very good.

It features NEW weapons, NEW vehicles and NEW maps. And it is very well made. The maps I played were Germany vs Ukraine and were in densely wooded areas. There were no airbourne vehicles on this map but lots of tanks and APCs and tall grass to hide infantry in and the tanks seemed much faster but this is good because there is a lot of terrain to cover.

The download is 1GB but I managed to get the client files off usenet. The only downside is as its a mod it is unranked.

Was on for about an hour today....enjoying it so far. It kinda reminds me of Operation Flashpoint (great game), the Russian atmosphere. And the levels are expansive. And because theres no ranks (official ones anyway, because there is still some sort of ranking system I think) everything seems chilled compared to BF2.

good server to play in for this and always full is tacticalgamer server..

also u have to join squads asap (90 seconds) they have a admin script that kicks you if you are not in a squad in 90 seconds...but the game is better as it ends up as squad vs squads which is good battles
