Default Company of Heroes - Best RTS in years?

I first heard about this game a couple days ago, it's been getting rave reviews in plenty of places. So I decided to download the Single Player beta demo yesterday, and what a game it is!

It's a World War II RTS game. I havent liked RTS games for years, last one I actually played was Command & Conquer back in the day, and this just reminds me of it. The graphics are amazing and so are the physics, even though its set to medium. The AI is great too, especially since the demo I tried was beta.

There is also a multiplayer beta demo out as well now, and also a new non beta demo that was released yesterday although i haven't tried these yet.

    * Essence Engine – Relic’s next generation cutting-edge engine provides graphics quality and a physics driven world that is unprecedented in an RTS.
    * Environmental Strategy – Real-time physics and a completely destructible environment guarantee no two battles ever play out in the same way. Destroy anything and re-shape the battlefield in your image! Use buildings and terrain to your advantage, or deny them to the enemy.
    * Living Soldiers - Advanced squad AI brings your soldiers to life as they interact with their changing environment, take cover, and execute advanced squad tactics to eliminate all enemy opposition.
    * 2-8 players MP competition via Lan or Internet – Go online with friends and join in the ultimate battle of Axis versus Allies.
I got the beta demo off NG's but here's some links to it on http:

Just downloaded the demo yesterday and must admit it's very nice.

Does seem pretty tactical game and it may even drag me away from playing eve online for a hour or two hehe.

Was playing this last night and although it looks a good un, the graphics were not something to write home about on my machine.
Although I play WOW on the highest settings at 1280 x 1024, if I try and play it at that resolution on my machine, it's pants.

    My specs -
    AMD 64
    ATI x800 Platinum
    512Mb RAM

Won't be upgrading my machine anytime soon so will have to lower my settings I guess. I know graphics aren't everything but it would be nice to get the game to work at it's best.

Tried playing this on my setup..not good! lol

I must have the worse graphics card ever! as everything is on screen ok, apart from anything which moves! lol I guess you can tell im not really into the gaming thing- the last game i played on the PC was red alert2 and only got COH due to all the hype of how good it was.
