Default New K800i on its way what are my essentials ?

Unplanned as i wanted to go with nokias for a bit but this was the only decent option when they told me they had run out of n70's so it's on its way...

What essential downloads / apps / games / themes / tweaks are there. Stuff i cant do without.

Let's make a k800i list as alot of the threads here seem to be focused on w800 k750 etc.

    cheers,

    malty

Nice one for that myphone explorer matey......... Karma'd, used to have it on my K750 and forgot all about it

malty......... Something to bear in mind is that you dont get a memory stick with it, just the internal memory. Not free but i think their relatively cheap now, simonghodge put a thread in biggy's a little while ago about a deal on one if i remember rightly

been searching around for M2 cards. Looks like 1GB is a bit hard to find at the moment (at a decent price anyway) so i'll be going for 512MB for now.

I think the phone has 64MB internally so a little to play with.

I'll have a look for the thread you mention

    @fireblade, nice sites thank you

loving this phone. The camera is fabulous. First phone cam i've had that gives great images in low light. I love publishing the photos straight to a weblog over 3g too. great stuff.

I think the k800i is the best phone i've used so far.

Quite a few games and stuff here http://www.myk800.lasyk.net/K800i/Games/

(some of them are pretty cr*p though, but there are a couple of gems if you look hard enough)

Malty - 1GB cards are £39 in stock in town at Carphone warehouse. I know they're slightly cheaper off the web, but.... no stock

That wouldn't say 90 on the clock there would it

And that is impressive for a camera phone

to get the maximum speed you need to use a memory card reader, I had the same problem when transferring stuff to my K750i and W810i. It's because you are transferring through the phone which is about 3 times slower than a memory card reader.

memory card readers are pretty cheap, you can pick one up off fleabay for about a fiver.

file transfer mode is about as fast as a memory card reader. Phone mode is no where near as fast.

Lots have trouble installing the driver for the FT mode, but once in properly it works a treat
