is anyone here based in the USA??

hi, reason i ask is that i am traveling to Mexico 8th october and i am trying to get together some $1 bills to tip the people with as i have been told tipping is essential and as it is an all inclusive place i wont be spending anything in the hotel to gain change so i want to get about $100 in $1 bills and was wondering if anyone knew,

a) Where i can get them in the uk?, every curency shop i have been to wont give me more than five.

b) weather anyone on the forum is based in USA and could send me them over? i would pay upfront and postage obviously and any other reasanable costs incured in obtaining them.

if anyone can help

mate tipping is not normally done in $1 .... people like cleaners for your room will get at least $3 each day normally...... if not more... so yeah a few $1 notes for them but thats it really i would say $5 notes are the best option

I think 15% of the total bill is the norm these days... for eating out..... so might be worth getting some $5 bills too.

You can get money changed in any post office free now i think so its just as easy for you to get them from a post office to be honest and sure they will let you have a few $1 if needed, just have to order them probably

i shant be paying for any meals mate, the holiday cost just over 4000 for the two of us and it says in every brocher gratitudes are included but most reviews i read on the net say tip a dollor here and a dollor there goes a long way in terms of service. its an american thing isnt it, ive been all inclusive in otehr parts of teh world and never tipped anyone apart from the cleaner.

The all-inclusive places I have been too have been really strict on tipping and tell you if they find the staff have accepted tips they will be fired so be careful. I have always left something for the room person when I have left.
