i dont have a web cam! but whilst im signed in, n chatin 2 sum 1, next 2 ma display pic der will b dat sign of a web cam.

You assume you're on a mobile phone here... but you're not... leave the txt crap out and maybe people can suggest something mate.. but then, you didn't seem to ask a question in the first place.

Have you tried running the webcam set-up from within messenger. once it cant detect that the webcam is there the icon should vanish.

or just go on tools, options and un click the bottom box. this allows people not to see your webcam.
