Long vehicle

i have a tom tom 300 fitted in my car i pull a large caravan but the tom tom takes me down some narrow country lanes is there any way to program it for long vehicles to avoid narrow roads and lanes

Its been awhile since I fired up my TomTom but from memory you can pre view the route and see where it takes you and avoid certain roads etc.

Also if you just turn around (im guessing not to easy when you got a caravan behind) and head another route it will re-plan the route and pickup your current position.

It ok to pre view the route but if you don’t know the roads you don’t know how narrow the are till you get there

i drive artics and common sence prevails,i always look down a road before commiting myself to turn,if its looks iffy,drive on and ignor tomtom because it will reroute everytime you ignor a turn......
