    Default slow down Stuble Growth?

    Hi guys,

when i started to shave many years ago, i made the mistake of shaving against the grain, and now i have to shave both up and down in order to get a "clean" shave. Even when i do, the stubble grows back quite quickly, and by the end of the day i have some. i need to shave again the next day and find this quite annoying, as maybe a year ago i needed to shave once every 3-4 days.

is there any i can do to slow down the growth?

    thanks

Have you tried not shaving for atleast 2 weeks, I tried it a month and then found my skin was a lot smoother, no irritation and it didnt grow back as quick

I find that, as scruffy as it makes you feel at the time, leaving it a few days between shaving tends to slow down the rate at which it grows back... It's just fact of havin to put up with looking like a tramp for a couple of days that's a pain in the arse!

daft as this sounds I was ill in bed not long ago and spent a lot of time sleeping on one side, when I finally got up I noticed that the side of my face that I had been lying on wasn't as bad as the other side for stubble.

guess you could always try covering it with sellotape lol

lmao stick it well it could be like waxing

don't know if you men have a masculine version but (and please don't laugh guys!) some of us women have been known to use Hair Minimilising Lotion, if used everyday it reduces the thickness, and seems to slow down the amount, of hair growing through the pores.
Have a dekko in boots, they have allsorts of products for men nowadays
i'm sure they probably do something like this for men too.

thanks for the replies guys - my last shave was thursday and i have just had one now only shaving downwards - alot more than normal has come off so i think leaving it a while gets a better shave, but unfortunately this isnt a long term solution as i need to be quite clean shaven when dealing with clients. think i will have to wonder down to boots as recomended by mummikub.

    thanks for the advice
