That reminds me of these sites. Same kind of stuff, showing abandoned buildings. Some fantastic pictures on these two. I espcially like the asylum and hospitals, I'd be far to scared to go and actually look myself, they give me the creeps!

there's an abandoned orphanage near where i stay just out in the country

i dont know quite how abandoned it is on the inside (very very spooky if they left toys etc. in it) but there is a shed beside it that you can get into (or rather it is poorly boarded up and somebody has broken into it, allowing slightly more respectable citizens to get in without actually breaking anything) and it is full of furniture and kids bikes and things. the actual building is properly boarded up and alarmed so nobody has quite managed to get into it yet

its such a waste because these buildings could surely be used for something useful.
