cant view post in certain areas new members

im a new member and cant view certain forums. i read the sticky and understand that noobs were flooding but now you have new memebers trying to get there post count up to view the forums?? atleast let them view them but not post in them. how many posts does it take to get to these areas?

what areas are you on about mate.... the rules won't change just go help some people by posting and you will get your access...... Only tip is don't spam to get the post count up...

no its not all about leeching its just a little frustrating i have no idea how many posts untill i view the forum. im trying to view the digital cable forums. only the sub forums are showing up is this all the forums in the directory or are some hidden to new members? any info on post count?

also there is some threads on Titanium
i dont see any 101 stickys or anything is there hidden threads or folders within the cable forums hidden to new memebers or is it what i see is there.

The post count restrictions were lifted a little while ago, so the post count restriction isn`t in use at the moment. Thats not to say it won`t be re-applied again.

You should see all the forums except the VIP section.

The old restrictions were 10 posts. If you were to introduce yourself properly and have a read about, 10 posts is not a great deal.

Do you find viewing frustrating because you actually have to be shown to give something small in return before you can get information? If so, I think you are in the wrong place. This is a 'community' not a resource for people to leech information.

It's in a protected/hidden/pending subforum but google (and mods) can "see" the url I think.

none that link doesnt work for me either but i never use that section so wouldnt really miss it, would never have noticed if you hadnt posted.
