What's the freakin number on this sim card?

Got a Moto v3 here with an Orange sim in it. To register we need the mobile number but there's nothing in the menus to divulge this. Internet search is pish.

Anyone know a keypad code to reveal this magical number please?

To get the phone number you have to register it with Orange and qoute the sim number back of the sim and the IMEI of the handset

The sim number may actually be on the gold contact side of the sim and not the back (Probably starts with 8944)

They are fucking nuts. I have never had a sim off orange with a number till they gave it me on the phone after registration.

There is a number starting 8944 but the remaining 15 numbers don't look like a phone number

Hmm, I've just been on the agent sales page (Obviously not accessible by joe blogs), and it has the option to enable registration for PAYG/Contract etc. and it is asking for the sim number and swipe card number.. is it PAYG Shambles and do you have a swipe card?

1st guy.. "Orange services".. "Hi I need to register a phone". " Register a what?"
he then cut me off immediately.

2nd call same guy "Orange.. which service?" "I need to register my new phone". He says "Why do you want to do that?" then cuts me off.

Last try.. "Customer services".. "Hello I want to register my new phone to Orange".. "Ok I need the name address and date of birth of the account holder". "I'm registering on behalf of.. " line truncated. Cut off.

Cheers Shambles.. got to admit though, I don't like Orange sign ups... I have to use their site for registration of new users and even though it's agent access it's not that friendly and often crashes out on me at the most awkward time. I went through the new PAYG sign up to see what it involves (I usually deal with contracts) and I entered my mobile as a test and it said 'Sim does not match handset' so I guess it means it will only sign up a PAYG sim with a new handset bought from Orange on PAYG, I don't have that problem with other providers I use.
