Xbox 360 Crashing

Hi, I flashed a 360 with a samsung ms25 drive with xtreme 4.0b and it is intermitantly crashing with both original and backup games. It can't be the type of media used because originals also crash. I must of got the dvd key ok as it would not work at all, so I'm thinking it is just a bad flash.
What do all you 360 experts think????

It was previously original not flashed and was ok with originals

im thinking that you need to tweak your pots if anything or buy your self a replacment drive dont forget to keep your backup containing your key

plenty of new drives on ebay

and there is tutorials for tweaking your pots in the stickys

if it keeps crashing it prob needs a new laser
i helped someone else on here with theres and it was his laser forgot who's it was again

Is it best to got a new drive or just the lazer.
The only other thing I thought of is if the an original was put in to activate the high speed and then a back up was put in it might struggle to read at the higher speed

is it just freezing or is there little squares all over the screen

little squares could be the gpu overheating

I'm getting the 360 back tomorrow so I'll have a play to exactly whats going on, the info so far has been from my mate so it may be wrong what exactly is happening

Right I've got this 360 back this is what I've found.
Originals are ok, back ups are hit and miss to load when they don't load there is a buzz sound from the drive for a fraction of a second, when they do load ther is no buzz sound. Not sure what the sound is may be the disc slipping when it spins up.
I reflashed the drive with the original firmware but I had to use the recovery method to do this, originals where ok.
I then reflashed with the first version of xtreme and I got the hit and miss loading up backups again with the same buzz sound when it didn't load.

It also seems to be choosy about the media, Traxdata it don't lika at all, Ridisc extreme loads 70% of the time, purple ridiscs seem ok

Any one got any ideas

yes m8 get some verbs my m8 had sim problem got verbs not missed a beat

As a few have said,verb's all the way,I burn em at 6x(2.4x rated) and they've worked in every 360 i've tried them in.It's just not worth buying cheaper media.

I've just ordered some verbs so hopefully that will do the trick
