Can this also be used for google vids?
Not sure if that one does, but I tend to use this one a lot.. paste in the url and then select what site it's from on the right.. Sometimes you've got to paste and click download a few times before it'll get it though.

When you watch a video on youtube or google you can go up to the address bar and copy the link from there and past it into the box on the keepvid link in the first post........... That saves the file as a .flv file which you can either store for your viewing pleasure at a later date or convert it using an app so that you can store it for your viewing pleasure at a later date
