Right, got me a 360 and a high def LCD is on it way, walked into Game the other day to buy some Hi def cables for it, but did not realise that there are two different types.
Can anyone let me know which one would be the best one to use.
Cheers

Depends on the connections your TV comes with... you could use VGA or the component cables...
Either will work just as nicely - would be safer bet with component as the TV is sure to have that.

If you bought a premium pack, then it comes with the HD component cables m8! hence the wee switch to go between HDTV and SDTV...
VGA is okay but has problems with some games although I have never had the problems other than Quake 4 which doesnt scale properly as the VGA from the 360 doesn't support 1440x900 at the moment
I cannot stress to you how important it is to get decent component cables. Get the official ones and you will be fine.
I know lots of people that have had problems because they have gone for cheaper component cables!

Genuine cables all the way, the picture through my cheapie VGA cable looks "washed out" when compared to the picture from the Genuine Component cable that shipped with my premium 360.
