    PC What backup software?

I'm trying to backup my system drive to a larger drive so that I can do a fresh install. I want it to be copied so that it's still accessible as normal, not archived in any way.

I've tried just copying and pasting the whole drive but if it comes accross a file that's in use it will stop the whole procedure.

I would think drive image or norton ghost would do it. makes an exact copy of the drive, but if you do a fresh OS install on another drive the programmes won't run from the imaged drive, but you would be able to access everything.

Thanks for the suggestions, I've started to use EZBack-It-Up now since it's free, if it doesn't work I'll try one of your suggestions.
