    Question Increase Headphone Output?

    Hi all,

Is it possible to increase the sound output on the PSP via headphones?
I've still got the standard set that came with my PSP pack but the sound level at it's highest is so low, I can hear flies having a piss.

If I'm stuck with the low sound output through these headphones, can anyone recommend a good site to look at for better ones?
I'm prob best looking for a set of 'over the ear' jobbies as I've got rather large ears and something with a seperate volume control so I can turn it up to 11.

I have used my Sony MDR-XD200 full size headphones with my PSP and it sounds awesome.
Almost anything is better than the supplied one's. How big do you want to go?

we've had this discussion before, people are divided on the subject. Try different headphones, its the only way I've found works. I use an old set of Sony Snug fit in the ear ones from an old walkman, they work a treat.

Saw a pair of Sony ones for about 30 quid.
Will hope they are better than the standard ones.

The Sony PSP Headphones have a higher impedance than normal and hence are quieter. Sony did this to protect kids ears apparently.
No option but to buy another pair as peeps suggested ;-)
Why spend £30 on a set of headphones??? I bought a set of Sennheisers from ebuyer for a tenner.

I just use my ipod ones, they work fine for me! The supplied ones went straight in the bin, absolute rubbish. I can understand the reason for them supplying these to protect kids ears, but they are just ridiculously quiet!

Thanks for agreeing with me that they are quiet. I thought my ears were getting all waxed up.
I've seen a pair on ebay for £15 so keeping my eyes on them.

Cheers all. I'll close this thread but K+ to all that replied.
