See this has been upped, just over two gig so I'm assuming CloneCD burn method onto a DVD5?

eh, scareface is not coming out on 360.

360 games are not on DVD5.

over 2gb makes it more likely a xbox image.

Wouldnt mind a bit of scarface on 360, aint been arsed grabbing the xbox/ps2 version.

I was hoping it's Xbox Scarface ripped with the 360 backup method allowing it to work as a copy on a 360?

I thought xbox clones had to be padded to fit on a DVD9 tho?

Thats how the halo and tom clancy games were released - unless MS support that in the back compatibility list.

sure xbox 1 games have to be on DL disks to work in a 360

xbox 1 games that have been ripped to play on a 360 do indeed have to be dual layer. People must remember that one of the 3 security sectors that are on the disc is on the second layer (which is why we specify a layer break so that the ss is burned in the right place) so if the image is a dvd5 then this ss would not exist and therefore would not work on a 360.

ALL games, xbox1 or xbox360, have to be dual layer.

(no comments about the arcade games working off cd....they arent real games lol)

Yes. Backed up XBox games will only work on the 360 if they are ripped on a 360 and burned to DL media.

I can`t remember where I read it (maybe another post on here...) but I`m sure I`ve seen someone mention a new version of C4E`s firmware that would allow backups to be played from DVD5 - I don`t think anything like that is out yet tho, not sure if it was speculation or wishful thinking

I would play a few xbox games on 360 but haven`t been arsed as the disks were too pricey to waste - now I have the aone disks from Rap I may as well give it a go.

Is there a tut anywhere on how to convert an xbox image into 360 ready for burning, or does it need to be done with the 0800fw and all that?

dvd5 is supposed to be being worked on but theres nothing out yet

theres no method of converting xbox1 games to work on a 360, you have to rip it from an original disc or get an image that has been specifically ripped to work on a 360

Ah ok, cheers for the info mate.
If anyone has any nzb`s for xbox1 games converted to work on 360 could they post them, or pm me or something.... wouldn`t mind playing Forza and Halo 2 (which I have never played - firing green bobs put me off the first one).
