Having trouble burning traxdata

ive searched the forum but cant find any info on compatibilty with a samsung drive and traxdata 2.4x media , ive got my samsung flashed with 4.2a and useing a pioneer dvdr-111d with latest official firmware also burning at 2.4x useing the rite layerbreak setting and useing imgburn , the game boots but soon after i always get the dirty disk error any help would be great thanks

also my 111d is in an external case using usb 2 cos i have a laptop

Try using firewire m8! I was using USB with my lappy, but it just wouldn't finish burning DL DVD's, so I got a firewire caddy, and now all is well!

I am using traxdata on a 111d fw 1.23 (do i need to upgrade it?) writes slowly, 1.xx speed, but end result is a dl which works in samsung and hitachi. Only had 3 coasters out of 30 discs.

you dont HAVE to upgrade, but I would recommend upgrading to the latest FW link here, and its the second one down ("DVR-111D, DVR-111DBK, DVR-111DSV"). As for burning a 1.xx thats pretty stange, because even when I had FW 1.23, my 2.4x traxdatas still burnt at 2.4x!

ive used the same disks in my stock 111 with no problems, bought about 6 month ago.

I did actually think i was buying verbs tho, like a tard. so far ive burned 8 and all 8 have worked fine tho. just not as good as a verb does.
