The easiest and safest way would be to let someone with nspro do it , it could be a right headache doing it yourself

Hi m8, yeah it will be a cheaper solution now as the original post was made approx 6 months ago. There will be free solutions available now, well probably.

set com port 1, speed 921600 , load your .cla file by clicking Bin... Click start , then when ready click download. .. wait some time .. job done oh and before you do flash the handset make sure the battery is fully charged.

This is probably a dumb question but do I have to use the special flash cable thingy or do I use the normal pc to phone cable supplied with the phone?

I'm trying to unlock my o2 D900 phone. Strange because most o2 phones aren't locked!

I should have said that when I click bin a file explorer screen pop's up! Which folder do I select?

You should be able to use the cable that came with the handset.

This is a myth, not ALL o2 handsets are unlocked m8. Especially the PAYG ones, none of them will be unlocked.

You need to select the folder in which you downloaded the bin (flash) file into.

Sorry but I don't understand! What bin file? The file from the program oneanddownloader or is it a file on my actual phone itself.

Do you know what the file is called because I could search for it.

You need to download the bin file, which is the flash file/firmware from the link in the above post. Then you have to use the USB cable to write this to the handset.

But as I say, you NEED the bin file first to write to the handset.

Have you installed the USB drivers correctly ?

Are you sure the cable is using COM 1 ?

Also, make sure there is a full charge in the battery as I think flashing can take upto 45 minutes.

The cable isnt listed in the device manager m8, so at a guess you havent installed the drivers correctly.
