Hi
I am going out to Singapore towards the end of January with work and am taking the Mrs and the baby with me. The plan was at the end of my work to take a two week holiday somewhere close by. Initially I'd thought of China but the health visitor has scared us from taking a 13 month old there due to the need for immunisations that she can't have until she's 18 months old and the fact that the place has malaria and I don't fancy my chances of getting anti-malarial drugs to the baby.
So - We could stay in Singapore but I might be moving out there in a few months anyway. I looked at getting flights on from Singapore to New Zealand but they are booked up solid. We also thought about Hong Kong but aren't sure that there'd be enough to do around there for two weeks.
Can anyone suggest anywhere within reasonable distance that we could go that is safe and clean for a 13 month old baby with minimal immunisation requirements? I don't mind travelling a bit (New Zealand was going to be 12 hours) 8 hours tops would be ideal.
Thoughts welcomed.
Kris.
