    at 1024 x768 it is also not true full hi-def. But as an entry, great value..

    There's not that many true Full(1080P) HD tv's available (unless your willing to pay for one) at the moment and the ones that are are still very good money....

    Samsung do a 40" true 1080P Blu-Ray Ready http://www.futurehome.co.uk/scripts/...?idProduct=736 one but your looking at £1500-2000 for it so still abit pricey...

    really fed up of this comment.
    i have a sony 1080p for downstairs and a hitachi 9700 plasma for upstairs ( odd res alis panel at 1024x1080 ) and trust me, the plasma beats it on everything.its not all about the resolution, colour processing has a great deal to do with it, and the plasma does a much ebtter job of that.

    Well 1024x768 is more like a 4:3 aspect ratio, not a proper widescreen ratio.
