mame and joypad

i am using mame 32 0.110 and every time a play a game and then exit and start another game my joypad dont work,,i have to go into settings and tick enable joypad everytime i change games.???

tried it on 2 pcs and tried 3 diff pads on each..same result

any ideas anyone ??

I use Mame32 Plus as I use it from a cabinet and like the built in frontend. I've never had this problem so may be worth you taking a look.
