Signatures Slowing Down Page Refreshes

I always use the "go to last read post" button when browsing to save time. Lately this is taking ages as the browser waits for all of the images to download before jumping to the relevant point in the thread. The main culprit of this seems to be signatures linked from mygamercard.net. I am sometimes waiting for 10+ seconds & it's really distracting.

Has anyone noticed this too, and can anything be done about it?

Yes a lot of the Xbox sigs are taking ages to load agree with that but Rap has one so i cant see them getting rid of them.

Sigs are for intellectual defectives.

I'm pretty sure vbulletin has an option to ignore signatures, check the control panel

Yeh there is.

You have the option to show or hide various elements of messages, which may be of use to users on slow internet connections, or who want to remove extraneous clutter from posts.
-Show Signatures
-Show Avatars
-Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)

I remembered the option & have changed it. It will stay like that for a while, then I will turn the option back on to see some sigs since some of them can be amusing.
