Gents,
I have just setup my 360. My internet connection is at the back of the house and I have it wirelessly connected to a PC in my room (D Link 524 router and D link usb wireless adapter at the PC)
I want to connect the 360 to the pc and use the PC wireless to get on live
I couldnt enable ICS as the router uses 192.168.0.1 (and I dont think it can be changed in the router settings). So I bridged the wireless and 360 in windows.
This allows me to connect to live, but it tends to drop out after 5/10 mins. IS this just because the wireless adapter is a bit rubbish (it normally has about 90% signal so I didnt think it would be a problem), or do I need a crossover cable from the 360 to the PC when bridging?
Appreciate some advice, agonising having my new xbox and not being able to get on live!
cheers, Tom
