    Info Well done the Toon

Well thought I would comment on this afternoons game

The first 10 minutes thought Spurs were a class side and we were gona get a spanking

Dont know if it was us or Spurs but once we got into the game thought we matched them.
Must admit Shay Given kept us in the game numerous times.

To be fair I have slated Roeders position and didnt think he was right man for job but he has done a fantastic job for us.The injuries etc etc etc we have had in the past few months.

3 of the players on the field today I watched last season playing in a cup final against Blyth Spartans (North East Team) non non non league, and 1 of them scored today, another one who didnt start David Edgar scored last week against Man UTD

    Really enjoyed the win today!!

Hopefully we can get some decent players in the transfer window to boost the depleted squad

Ive heard theres no money m8, a mate tells me sheperd has told roeder its loan deals only.

Enjoyed the game today shame about the result though.

Thought at times spurs looked a class above, but then they looked shite.
Lennon was a constant threat but he cant finish. Berbatov was shite, should have had keane on from the off. Defoe looked good as well.

Given won that game mind (yet again) Tell you what mate, when he leaves your fooked

great performance by the boys today - kept there heads up and closed spurs down well (After the first goal). after watching the first 20 mins, i thought we were in for a thumping, buit great goal by martins really turned it around. He is a bit hit and miss, but did the business today. Also, thought Solano had a good game at right back again. Youth players are doing the job, and pattison didnt look out of place, and Huntington is probably going to make babyaro really fight for his place!

great win, lets keep it going.

rumour has it that we are tabling a £5m bod for Ronaldo. I really hope that isnt true!

i didn't see the game, was driving around so had to listen to it - but i think the result was against the flow of the game, but 3 points is very welcome!

we should get duff, bramble, emre and parker back in the next few weeks, but i can't see many signings being made in jan. although we're apparently after curtis davies.

I thought Spurs had a hat full of chances and didnt convert them, we only had 3 or 4 and converted them all.

I think Spurs have the basis of a good side but really didnt finish their chances today

Would be a waste of money. If souness was i charge he would snap him up because it is a big name singing. But i think Glen has got his head screwed on properly and wont buy him. His good days are behind him, we need young blood.

OPTA stats speak for themselves.... cant believe that we let in 2 soft goals. We are missing King as Davenport was at fault for both of them. Hope to see Davis sign to cover for King as Dawson confidence must be taking a hit as he is having to carry Davenport...

Defoe had a good game and Berbatov held up the ball supurbly. Lennon was not match fit but still looked dangerous...

Keane is going back to his old ways now that he is a sub by trying the flash crap... doesnt get the fans on his side...

Finally Jol see's that Defoe and Berbatov is the way forward and that the Mido - Keane partnership never worked. I only expect Keane to go if no-one comes in for Mido otherwise we will have no experienced cover upfront.

Berbatov is really impressing me...looked a good player recently.

And I wish we'd fcuk off Beattie and bring in Keane.

Id love to keep hold of Keane as he is quality but i dont think he is suited to the way that Jol wants Spurs to play......... I dont see him going until the summer when we can get in someone else

Just thought I'd bump this to see the reaction.
I reckon a few will think I'm congratulating that shower of shite for last night
Gotta laff haven't you. Whingeing about not being in the cup won't make the result go away any way.
    Cheers - Coin-Op
