they work fine m8 there was a post on here a while ago personally id buy the cheapest one that allows you to select the freq (2.99 off ebay last time i checked) and extend the 3.5mm headphone wire (you dont have to cut it just get a head phone extention from maplin or if you can solder make one) the wire is what it uses as an ariel and the longer that is the stronger and further you can send your signal (although im not that sure on its legality but as long as you dont alter the origional wire i wouldnt have thought there'd be an issue)as for sending the radio from a skydigi box your going to need an male to male 3.5 jack adapter and a phono to 3.5mm audio jack cable (both of which including the extention will come in under a fiver if you make it yourself if your unsure about making the cables have a look at systm.org -it could be revision3.com now though and watch the episode on cables its mainly for componany cables but the principal is the same)

cas
i forgot to mention clear line of site with no walls and no extention you'll get about 30feet if its in a car thats down to about 8-10 feet in a house the thickness of the walls will have affects on it but it should be ok with the extention again clear line of site i was a football field away and it was still strong, in the house it was fine no probs at all and if its in the car then about 30-50 feet around the car but thats with 2 feet of extention a foot of extention will do the same except for the car it has a range of about 20feet then
If anyone is after one of these I have one going in the BST section.
Only used it once, have a set of speakers etc.. now so no need for it.
shameless plug I know lol http://www.digital-forums.com/showthread.php?t=292206
