clio 1.2 16v 02 plate - idling at 500rpm and stalling at junctions???

i have a clio 1.2 16v 02 plate - idling at 500rpm and stalling at junctions??? i have tried googling it but it could be a whole host of problems..... maf sensor, map sensor, cts, ecu or even a faulty earth lead!!! does anyone know of anyone who has had the same problems??? and of course, rectified it! thanks guys.

i've had this problem before but not the same car, turned out to be the idle control valve, used to cut out a lot when dipping the clutch, especially when cold. was about £100 to replace including labour.
have a mate who has a car spares shop, if it is the valve i could try to source one for you at a discounted rate.
