These are awesome - bassy and definitely loud enough.

I paid about 40 quid just before christmas

When traveling on an airplane are these good for sound isolation etc. How do they compare to the Shure E2c's: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Shure-E2C-N-...&s=electronics
The Shures are over twice the price but are they worth it?

Not sure which one's I'd be best to go for.

Sound isolation is tip-top so save some money and get these!

Went to get these and they're up to £16.39 now, won't get em out of principle now. £2 is £2 and I hardly even need em really in 1st place just though they seemed good enuf offer.

Hmm. Just noticed 3rd party guys selling them on amazon for £7.38-£7.99, think it's £4.50 delivery so just under £12 delivered. Sounds like better deal than previously. That is if they're genuine and not fakes... any way to tell difference, apart from the sound (as I won't have listened to real ones, then fake ones to know difference)?

I was reading the reviews for the shure headphones yesterday & someone said they bought some from a marketplace seller & they were fake. He found some spec measurements on the shure site & they didn't match up to the ones he was supplied with. He got a refund & agreed not to report them. You can find the review using the shure link above. I ordered the shures.

Just got my pair, i have a feeling these are fake. the plastic is of very cheap quality, the cable feels quite cheap and like a hard material. also whilst the sounds is fantastic anything with bass gives a slight crackle in the left ear.

i bought the silver ones by the way

Both the Sennheiser CX300 and the identical Creative EP-630 have been heavily cloned in the far East and Ebay is flooded with sub-standard copies... so its worth paying a few extra ££ for the genuine articles off Amazon. But if you're saying that the ones you got off Amazon (not market place) are fakes, I would be very surprised.

So u reckon buy the ones off amazon and not the amazon third party guys? Surely there's a way to tell the fakes from the real ones?
