plus a HDMI cable (unless you wanna play your games in non HD) and a pad and your looking at around £500, plus your gonna need more than one game. Bowlers were selling imports today with a game for 399. We just get ripped off in the UK

Having played a PS3 I don't think it will sell out.
I know to most it's nothing but with the 'pad rumble' missing I didn't feel I was 'in' the game.
Sure the games look really nice but it just didn't float my boat.
I was number 3 on the list in my area for preorder but cancelled it.
I used to love Sony but I've lost faith in them but can't put my finger on the real reason why.
Still play my PS2 tho.

I WILL get one but I'll wait till the rumble is back.
I think a lot of people will be annoyed at the fact they might be looking at buying a 2nd PS3 if they're as fussy as me. lol

Not with you mate - the rumble will just be the case of buying another controller with it added down the line - not another ps3

That said - I got my ps3 from Hong Kong for £250 and am loving it... got a few blu-ray movies that look sweet, and Need for Speed Carbon but tbh I think it looks better on the xbox 360 than on the ps3...

I am glad I got mine for what I paid for it, but no way would I have gone for it at over £400!

Hope it does'nt sell out hoping to get one once it hits the shop's. Will not preorder one as i wanna wait to see if it's worth the dosh before i shell out the massive wad they want. Also i have heard there are 2 different sized hard drive ps3, do you think it's worth the extra dosh for the higher capacity one, and what else do you get for that extra dosh ? .

the thing is the majority of people have bought them to sell on ebay, it might be interesting to do a poll on here to see who is buying to keep and who is buying to sell. It might upset a few people though seeing what happened with the Wii's

Yeah you are most likley correct, although i dont know of anyone at the moment who is doing that. The prices will go sky high then when the novelity wheres off and the shops are stocked with them to the door, i will pop down and get one then, hopefully the prices would of dropped too.
