whilst setting up mybrand spanking new laptop,i managed to set my keyboard up to the US setting like a dick.
now my pound symbol is a # and the " and @ buttons are all arse about tit.
How do i reconfigure it? im having a mare trying to sort it.

In XP you need to go to control panel, regional settings, languages, and add the English UK KB and take off English US.
In Vista, you want control panel - Regional & Language Options - Keyboards - then add English (UK) and make it the default. While you're in regional and language check the other stuff is in UK as well.
