Know its a fair percentage whack more but if you can get another £150 or so the Samsung LE32R74 models are excellent.
The 32inch Mirai 632v200 from techfever.co.uk is an astonishing buy for just under 400 quid and free next day delivery.
There is an enormous thread over on avforums about Mirai and the bottom line is that they make quality sets for bargain prices. My mum bought one and I'm going to see it tomorrow. She says it looks very good and not cheap at all. It does 1-1 pixel mapping to I think which is perfect if you want to connect up a pc to it as well occasionally.
Check it out...

So I would be able to use that for my PC, TV and Xbox 360?

Exactly.
avforums thread is here....

It's a bit lengthy at 56 pages but it has covered several Mirai models over the past while. Probably about the last 20 pages or so start to deal with this tv.
The people over at avforums though are a picky bunch and they regularly recommend this tv for it's great performance/price ratio.

Empire direct LG32LC1DB 559.99
just got one yesterday and its the best LCD picture I have seen..
best thing about it .... it was an insurance claim and it cost me 25 quid excess
LOVELY
I understand you're trying to help mate but if that is the best LCD picture you've ever seen then you haven't seen very many good LCD TVs.
This is the problem with subjective recommendations. They can be well intended but in the grand scheme of things not very accurate.
If you want to know about tellys go over to avforums. There are people there that practically devote there lives to TV.
Comparatively the Samsung or LGs posted about here aren't any better than the 400 quid Mirai I posted. I guess the "names" just make some people feel better about a TV.
Saw my mother's Mirai yesterday and the picture was top notch with standard def DVDs and the build quality is superb. Just need to get her freeview signal a bit better than the complete crap it is just now and get some high def stuff to try out.

I got the acoustic solutions one from Argos for £400 on the cheap, it's almost as good quality as the Sony one I've got in the living room (and about 3K cheaper !!)

IMac, MacBook Pro, Ipad 2, Iphone 4, Iphone 3GS....Oh and a PC or 2 knocking about
And when he takes your advise he will see the LG32LC1DB is recomended and is one of the best LCD tv`s in terms of pic quality probably just a tad behind the wlt66 but were it wins out over the Tosh is 1:1 mapping something the Tosh can not handle.
Ive have a Tosh wlt66 37 and a LG37LC2D and if i had to part with one the LG wins with 1:1.

Don't buy a cheapie, you definatly get what you pay for when it comes to lcd's. just bought a 32 inch samsung le73bd for £550. couldn't afford it but the 26inch was £450 and the credit card loves the abuse.
Yes, but the fact that you seem to be completely missing is that the original post says he has £400 to spend and asks for recommendations in line with this.
He didn't say ask anyone to recommend a bunch of TVs that go entirely over his budget as far as I can see. As well as the fact that many people spend top dollar for extra picture quality that they are never going to notice.
Your opinions on the 37 inch TVs you have has no relevance to the original question.
I'm also not disputing that the LG is a good screen but as you admit yourself, it isn't the best. Again though, the best 32 inch LCD has little relevance to a post where someone wants to spend £400.
