problems installing my via pci card:(

after being recommended it by some kind memebers on here

problem is my pc isn't recognising it and the software disc that came with it doesn't auto run, it also has loads of stuff on it so i'm a bit confused as what to use

i've emailed the seller but had no reply

any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated

i had same problem so i googled the exact version and found the drivers like that, if your doing your samsung in dos you dont need drivers

i've installed the drtivers i've been told to and its still not showing up, everytime i restart it comes up with the "found new hardware" wizard so i know its there but it won't recognise it

if i look in device manager it jkust has the ! marks next to it.

i need it to show up in extreme bootmaker so i an flash a ms28

strange but i have this same card and have used it a few times in the past but today i tried to flash a MS25 and had all sorts of probs, xtremebootmaker is now saying that the card isnt supported by mtkflash so im doomed. Hoping ill wake up on monday and it will all just work as it sould.

pegz you dont need xtreme boot maker.

Just get the mktflash for the via card, create a dos boot disk and put it on that, boot to dos and flash!

Grab the mtkflash I posted in 909's thread, should do the job for you.

you have to flash ms28 in dos you wont need to install your windows drivers, i did one today.
