which chip to go for

i know its been asked before but i would like the opinion of everyone who has installed the chips to give advice on weather to wait or to pay for a chip now . if so which one do you think

wait. the wiinja is on its third revision already, things are moving pretty fast at the mo and there isnt really many games to get so hold on for now.

I'm in the same boat, ain't getting Cyclo whatever i know that but am waiting to see what results come of Wiikey & Wiinja Deluxe, but the main reason i was pondering lately was because of the ntsc/pal patcher but it doesn't seem to work on all games so will hold out for a few more weeks.

cought, thers are loads of games out, and chip costs 1/2 of one game so unless you got every game out any chip is worth it, yeh a lot of games are sad movie to game sh1t. but he ho, tis all good.. just hoping motorstorm is as mad as Excite Truck

None of the drive based chips (all of them at the moment) are not going to get NTSC games working on a PAL console that the patcher doesn't work with already.

All the drive mods are doing is changing the same 2 bytes the patcher is changing (but doing it on the fly).

Dont expect miracles from the drive chips, its down to how the game is programmed whether or not the NTSC -> PAL patching will work.

Oh, don't get me wrong, i know their just using the same code that everyone is already using to patch games, i just think seeing as i didn't get one straight away & things are moving along nicely, that i might as well wait another week & get one with it built in so i don't have to keep patching certain releases, like on the gc with the audiofix, although it wasn't much hassle & it's not that great aloss seeing as dvd-r's are like 20p for good one's, i'd still prefer to wait a week, will you be getting the Wiikey or Wiinja Deluxe by chance Glen?

I was under the impression that cyclowiz at least now supports playing different region games...
