PS3 - Should I get one ?

I've got a PS1 and the XBOX and the newly arrived Nintendo Wii.

Should I get a PS3 ?

Initailly i was gonna get the PS3 cos it had blue ray but after seeing the average price of �430 plus I'm beginning to wonder whether its worth it.

Any advice ? Is PS3 better than XBOX 360 and the rest ?

wait for some decent games. at the moment it has very little to offer for its high price unless you want a blueray player.

as above mate, get a 360, the ps3 wont do anything new, so get a 360 and save the money

But was that to make a few quid, or because it was crap/overrated?

I have a 360 and lots of games, but I have always been a Sony fanboy...so just looking for good reasons why I shouldn't get one. The fact that GTA 4 is gonna be released on both formats simultaneously is helping at the moment. Also, Xbox live is sooo seamless.

But then comes the Blu-Ray/HD argument. I'm pretty confused.

If you can afford it hav eone of each - as both platforms have games which dont come out on the other platform, and Sony's new Home system looks interesting ....
