Personally I would not bother with RP TV's, especially with the price of Plasma's dropping.

In retrospect i have to agree, for one it will take up too much space!
Plasma or lcd then. will keep looking.

At 40CM Depth I'm quite suprised how small it is for a rear projection actually.

rear projection aren't that bad on space - its just that you have to watch them in the dark thats the problem.

I dont have to watch mine in the dark m8, i have a 53" sony , had it for bout 4 years now. But if i were u id get a lcd or plasma.

we had two sony 44" RP's in our house and none had to be viewed in the dark. Great quality and they werent HD.

RP is pretty good, but with panny 50" plasmas at 999 this just isnt worth it.

This is a great television and is good value for 55" of RP Sony, but with prices for 50" full 1080p plasmas falling it sounds an all round better solution for me.
