Help A Cheaper alternative to ZEN ?

I`m currently on Zen pro package the gives me up to 8mb (i only get 2mb) with a 50GB cap, but i need to cut my outgoings and i`m finding it hard to justify the £34.99 price tag any more...

Has anyone got any alternatives i can live with the 50gb cap but i would rather have unlimited

    My main uses are

    Xbox 360 live play
    Torrents
    Occasional news group DLs
    General surfing..

I can get sky BB but i`m worried about there apparent high latency network especially when on the 360...

really the only thing zen have got going for them is the excellent customer service and the rock stable reliability. they are expensive and have shite caps.. but thats how they are so reliable.

if you can get Be, go with them.. 24 meg for 24 quid unlimited is a cracking offer and everyone ive spoken to whos on be is chuffed with it.

if you can get cable, thats also a decent offer for decent money...

however if you are restricted to adsl.. and you wanna reduce price while still maintaining some semblance of a decent service, id recommend trying either BT, or if you are after bigger caps, try ukfsn.org... thats who im with currently (as are god knows how many others ive recommended them to) and they are pretty good and have different caps for different prices.. they will do you 30gig onpeak, 300gig offpeak for 19.99. http://ukfsn.org/home/internet/adsl/maxallowance.html

im with ukfsn, they are ok but if you go over your cap by just a few meg they charge you up to the next price bracket + £5 so your looking at an extra £15 on your bill if you get just slightly forgetful.
The do have an excellent useage monitor page u can bookmark tho, i will be checking that more often in future!

if you are talking about the one on the ukfsn site, enta also have their own: https://billing.enta.net/usage.php

itll ask u to log in then take u to a home page, just go to the url again and it shows you all your usage for the previous months and this month.

infact, i see enta have added a direct link to a graphical meter for people to bookmark..

edit.. fuck me.. and an rss feed that posts your daily usage to your feed reader lol.. thats handy.

what exactly were you expecting? its a fixed cap package.... which states very clearly that going over your package limit bumps your payment to the next packages price + a fiver.

if there was no fiver charge, there would be no incentive to select the package that suits you best, everyone would go for the lowest pakage and just not care if they go over it as they just get bumped up for a month.
