Help Doesn't recognise my game files?

Ok, so thanks to you guys here, I got my hands on an R4 and put on the 1.08 thingy.

I have downloaded some games and they say they are NDS files. But when I run my ds and look in my "games" folder, nothing is there..?

Do I need to do something else? Or is there something wrong? Or am I being an idiot?

    Thanks.

edit: now i get the message "This types of files currently not allowed to be operated"

When I downloaded them, i downloaded them to winRAR and extracted them to the folder so I assume so, yes..

they need to be gamename.nds to be ran on the R4. Pressing select also switches between view modes, i dont think one hides ds roms tho.

I renamed the files.. would that make a difference?

so as an example, its "Gamename" instead of "gamename.nds"
