I just tried ordering this... having some issues tbh

Firstly I was using IE7 (this is my first purchase since creating my quidco account so I thought I'd try IE as a failsafe)
When completing the purchase everything seemed ok right up to the page requesting your card details. On this page the total was way out (over £100). Obviously I went back to my cart (using the site navigation, not my browser 'back' button) It looked ok there so I tried again, (thinking perhaps the frame had gone through at the original £99.99 price) However, this time the total came to £60ish. Just for the amusement I tried again, with another new result £93

As tempting as it was to just keep going till one came up that was less than a tenner... I gave up and thought I'd give it a go with firefox

Using firefox I went to quidco first, and clicked the red save link from there. Added the frame to my cart, logged in to my nice new account. This time I completed the purchase and the total was correct! so I ordered thinking that would be cool.

I realised after that I hadnt received email confirmation, and my quid co wasnt showing any tracking (I've no idea how long that should take) so I logged back into red save to have a look. Apparently I have no orders pending - I've emailed Customer Services to find out if they have my order or not - If they've lost it I won't be trying again :s

Thanks anyway gunner, have some K. Not your fault its all a bit broken

[edit] oops no K for you, I've given you too much [/edit]

I think this lot were the one who if you wanted the cheaper price you had to agree to a monthly shopping club charge of 19.95£. Very dodgy and they did orginally make it quite difficult to get out of in attempt to suck people in and pay them dodgy administration fee scam.
See mse thread for more info.

    Had one... sent it back.
No power switch (you have to switch it on from the plug). This wouldn't be so bad if it didn't have a big label on it saying "Don't use for more than 8 hours per day". It also looses all of its settings when you switch it off (no standby mode). When you switch it on it always plays the pics in the order they are on the card (no random feature). Hooks for wall mounts are useless because the frame only looks good when you are looking straight at it or looking from a higher point. If you are looking up at it from a lower point the picture is terrible.

It appears they're still out to con everybody, but that offer price has gone now anyway.

Recommend the original post is edited to remove the link, and redsave is blacklisted from the forums, I may be lucky if they havent taken my order, but It looks like i'll have a bit of a fight if they take money from my account

I've used the 'contact us' stuff on their page, sent an email to some fella that works there (found his email address on MSE) and sent a recorded letter. All expressing my wishes to cancel any order with my details (I don't have any order number as it wasnt confirmed) and also to cancel any subscription they may have started under my email address.

According to their own T&C I have 48 hours to cancel any orders, and can cancel the sub at any time (first month is free). This should be sufficient that I dont get charged. Fingers crossed

If I do get charged I guess I'll be pming legal eagle

This has become my own little spamming thread

However, any actually reading this may be interested to see an email I just received

    Dear Chris,

Thank you for your email which I received today, I can confirm that I have cancelled your order and your pass has also been cancelled and I have requested a refund for £33.90 as this would have already been processed.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Kind Regards
    Chloe

^^^ Seems they did have my order afterall, well i'll keep an eye out for that credit, and make sure a mysterious £20 doesnt go from my account later, but it seems like good news so far
