Good points boobo06 lol. I haven't had to phone CS yet so can't compare that aspect. But capping and Sky as you mention is bollocks.
So I have to vote for *** :0
THAT IS NOT SKY ITS N-T-L
Why have they capped your broadband? It's meant to be no download limits.
Thanks Mule I was indeed referencing the loss of Sky on cable.
@chiliman - VM have started pinching the pipes at peak times. My 20MB dips to 4-5MB in the evening :/ No big deal really. Understandable if anything (I wasn't so subdued when I discovered it mind lol)

I was under the impression that everything is run the same but just because Birgin bought a load of shares they slap their branding over everything...?
Hmmmm, this is a tough one. Under Virgin I think their customer services have got better but wel have lost channels (after this I have ditched their TV). Last night was the first time I have seen my connection slow down (went from 2mb speeds to 1mb speeds)
I have been with them since November and I am still waiting to get a bill that is correct!
I haven't noticed any speed drops in the evening, I'm always downloading via NG's.
Stroll on next month when they up 10mb to 20mb. I've been keeping my eye on this site for about 3 weeks waiting for them to add the info about whether or not you'll need to upgrade your modem to handle the new speeds or not.
What gets me is they want £25 if you do need to upgrade which is bloody wrong paying for a service you might not be able to use fully!
sorry about the sky question last night was a wee bit drunk and mis-understood the question sorry
Don't be silly man
Virgin - Friends of WarezThat means you'll be able to download an MP3 track in 2 seconds, a full album in less than 30 seconds, or an episode of your favourite TV show in just two and a half minutes. Pretty speedy, eh?
the customer service went downhill rapidly, speeds were not always stable, then the loss of channels on tv just made us move connection and tv elsewhere.
quite a few people have phoned and complained and got reductions on thier bills instead but that wasnt my issue so new supplier was found.

im now paying £12.50 for 4meg broadband form virgin, which i think isnt bad really.
dunno tho seems they hav shipped there call center abroad tho coz it takes ages 2 understand them n it takes ages to get wot you wanted fixed
Virgin are a lot worse then ***, it's now almost impossible to get through to them, and when you do they csn't speak or understande English. I have had 2 of them hang up on me, no replies from emails. A reduction would be good i guess, if i could manage to have the conversation asking for one.

When I used to work for N T L mate I would always send the standard "please confirm your dogs surname" security mail. I would always wind the fuckers up on broadband medic (text chat thing) and I did my utmost to get the fuckers off the phone.
I think it was more down to the fact that the staff were treated like dirt more than anything. Obviously Virgin are keeping this up.
