Photos A few in the 'Studio'

Finally finished my 'studio' this week. I've been converting my garage. I'll post some before and after pics of the garage when I get chance.

Anyway, here's a few from today. One or two may be a bit risque so if you're at work....don't look, wait 'til you get home.

    Comments welcome.

She's very pretty, and has a great complexion. She could go far!

And I'm not being smutty. She could have a future..

Excellent shots mate, that home studio's gonna be paying for itself in no time if the quality keeps up with these one's. Anyway, hope these don't get taken the wrong way (i'm sure they won't), so here's my (hopefully) constructive comments

1st Pic : Nice tight crop, not lost the details in the shadows, and the selective colouring is subtle enough to not be OTT (as i think it would have been if they had been blue eyes). Seem to be a couple of patches on her cheek which could have been given the healing brush treatment, but that's it.

2nd Pic : A tough one, technically, the setup is great, nice lighting, good detail, again nothing lost in the shadows. I just think that if the composition is set-up so that she's just going to show her eye, we should see more of it, it's half closed there, i like how the skin we see heads diagonally accross the image, thats' very nice, but just not so sure about the hand over the face unless we're really concentrating on the eye she's not covering.

3rd pic : Have you used some kind of digital softening filter or that portraiture filter on this? Something artificial about the skin tones. If you had left the sunglasses off the head i think it would have been better, as it stands because we've lost the hair detail into the background t looks like a pair of shades floating in mid air, i think without eh shades would have worked nicely, like she was creeping out of the shadows. This is my fave pic though, despite the tones, she looks a lot more comfortable + natural in this one.

4th pic : Another corker, although shame you couldn't completely hide the back of the chair, there's some reflection there which is highlighting one side of the chair's back. Her skin tones look a lot more natural again in this one (which makes me think you used some kind of filter on #3), a great pose, although she should be looking a bit happier or relaxed than she's posing for

    Thanks for the comments.

    @ _Belial

Thanks for the constructive breakdown m8, appreciated.

I've 'touched up' the blemishes on her cheek with the old healing brush. I didn't really notice them at home, but at work they're very clear!

On the 3rd and the 4th I played around with a tutorial for skin retouching although have to agree looks a little OTT. I'll tone it down next time.

    @burner1

No smart blur used, just trying a bit of skin re-touching (tutorial I found) but gonna tone it down a bit I think.

    Cheers fellas.

    Mr O.

Very nice shots. Nothing more I can add to what's already been said, except perhaps as belial says maybe she could work on her smile. Perhaps you weren't trying to get that shot this time though.

Anyway looks like that studio will be earning you some cash soon.
